Celebrating 7 Years Of Awesome

Hey everyone,
This is Jordan. I'm laying next to my beautiful bride right now as we celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. Actually, our anniversary isn't until February 9th, but due to schedule conflicts we're celebrating early.

We're currently chilling at the Red Lion Hotel in Idaho Falls over looking the Idaho Falls Temple and the river. That was where we were married seven years ago. It's beautiful to look out and see the temple glowing on a cold January evening, while tucked away warm with my wife.

We were just looking over the blog at our beautiful children and reminiscing over how much Ayla has grown up over the past 9 months that Jenn has been posting this blog. And how fast Lily grew those mountainous cheeks of hers in just under 3 months. Time goes by so fast. It's unreal to think I've been married to Jenn for this long. And in the grand scheme of things this is just a blip on the radar. She's an amazing person and a wonderful mate. I'm so lucky to have her in my life and to love me.

Plus she's smoking hot. Seriously.

Pics for Keeley

Keeley is in withdrawal and has been bugging me about getting pics up.  So here is to Keeley.

So I have been trying to give Ayla some more space to do what she wants without me looking over her shoulder all the time.  She is only 2, but I feel like I am constantly telling her not to do things.  Well the past couple of days I have found her doing things and wonder if maybe I gave her a little too much space.  I was busy one morning and so I gave the girls to Jord to take care of.  He ended up dozing off in bed with Lily while Ayla played in our bedroom.  I went in to see what they were all doing and found that Ayla had decided that Cleveland needed some lotion.  A lot of it.  Unfortunately I did not get a pic of it.  I just didn't want a dog caked in lotion running through the house if you know what I mean.  Then the next day she was in the bathroom playing around.  She likes to get into my makeup and Jord has specifically told her that makeup is for mommy, not Ayla.  So when i asked her what she was doing she told me "nuffin", which is her way of saying nothing.  Too cute.  Then she told me she was not in the makeup because makeup is for mommy.  At least she is learning.  So i decided to go in and see what she was up to.  She was doing her hair.  She had caked a whole bunch of gel on the top of her head.  That i did get a picture of.  Although i don't think the pic does it justice.  I was a total mess.  So then later that day i found her in my bedroom.  I should realize by now that if she is in my room it always means trouble.  Especially if she forces the dogs to go in and then closes the door.  Well this time it was Daisy who got the lotion bath.  You got to love toddlers.  As much stress as she is I wouldn't trade her for the world.  She is my little sweatheart.

Rockin Out

Jord had band practice last night down in the basement. Ayla came to me with her ukelele that we got in Hawaii for her. She said "Play guitar with daddy downstairs." So I let her go. I tried to upload the video, but it wouldn't work. So here is a pic.

Here is the pic of my sweetie. So freaken cute!

Two months old

I cannot believe it has already been two months since Lily was born. She is growing like a weed. She is actually keeping up with Ayla at that age, except for she grew long way faster. She now weighs 12 pounds and is 23-3/4 inches long. She has grown 3-3/4 inches in two months. Unbelievable! Ayla had only grown 1-1/2 inches. I guess I am doomed to be the shortest in my family. It really should be no surprise. I would have posted a pic, but I don't have one available right now so it will have to come later.

Blessing Day

Yesterday we blessed our beautiful little Lily. We had family come up from Idaho and then all of Jord's family from here come. It was so fun to have everyone here. On Saturday my mother and I took Lily to get some pics done before she grew out of her blessing dress. She is growing like a weed. She has put on about 5 pounds in two months. Anyway, here are the pics we took along with some from yesterday after the blessing.
